Flowers and Herbs

We sell our flowers at the Grange Farm Market. We love dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, bachelor buttons, hydrangeas, and sunflowers.

While we don't do wedding florals ourselves, we are happy to collaborate with area florists who would like to work with us.

A Family Farm

Swallow Hill Farm was started in Ottsville, Pa in the 1980s by the Nagel family. They worked the farm for many years taking pride in using sustainable and organic practices and sold their produce to area restaurants.

In 2017,  the Penecale family purchased the farm. We continue to learn so much about the land. In 2021 we became USDA Certified Organic by PCO. During this time we learned a great deal about new techniques and processes to help our farm to thrive and worked to make sure that our fruits and vegetables would be as healthy as possible for ourselves and our community.

We are members of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Bowmans Hill Wildflower Preserve, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and the Plumsteadville Grange #1738.

This season we are growing a variety of organic tomatoes, peppers, greens, and flowers. We also have an orchard of apples, pears, tart cherries, persimmons, and a variety of nut trees.

Thanks for your visit!
